Product Description 3M Stikit Vibrator Sander Roll 426U is an abrasive sheet stock constructed on an A-weight, light paper with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing and features an anti-load coating. Silicon carbide abrasive and lightweight paper backing make this an ideal product when using a vibrator sander for finishing applications like paint prep, white wood sanding, and solid surface finishing. From the Manufacturer The open coat abrasive of the 3M Stikit Vibrator Sander Roll 426U is fast cutting, load resistant, and creates a smoother finish than aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. Sized to accommodate various 4-1/2 inch vibrating sanders, the roll form minimizes waste and provides bulk stock for high production environments. To enhance handling for sanding and finishing, the 3M Stikit PSA backing holds the product securely during use and provides quick and easy change when the product is worn out. Other applications include general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling and prep prior to staining or painting, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding.Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that is very sharp and commonly used for final finishing in whitewood sanding. While it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a superior finish.3M Stikit products are designed to handle a wide range of sanding and finishing needs.
