The Geko Ice Evo is a technical mountaineering and climbing glove designed to deliver a high level of protection from the elements and from the cold. Shaped construction on the fingers combines with soft, supple and durable goatskin, and a Velcro closure at the wrist for a performance fit that is purpose-built for technical climbing. Protection from the elements comes from the DRYZONE waterproof/breathable membrane, durable and water-repellent goatskin on the fingers and the tough nylon main body with a full cuff designed to cinch over the sleeves of a jacket. The cuff features the unique Open-Close system that allows the cuff to be tightened and loosened with a simple pull of the cord so it easy to operate without removing the gloves – just pull on the Close side to snug it up and the Open side to release and open. Protection from the cold comes from PrimaLoft Gold 100 g/m² insulation on the main body and PrimaLoft Gold Eco Grip Control 100 g/m² padding on the palm.
