Vehicles without a rain sensor, with an integrated sensor and no separate plug, or other 3-Pin connectors that may fit, will NOT connect or power on. Note: Some 3-Pin plugs look similar but will not function—locate the correct rain sensor connector before installation.
- This product is only compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with a 3-Pin Rain Sensor Port. Before purchasing, check behind your rearview mirror for a 3-pin connector — this is the only factor determining compatibility. You can inspect it by removing the mirror cover or looking behind the mirror for a plastic 3-pin socket, often used by the rain sensor. If this port is present, the adapter will plug in directly with no splicing or modifications needed
- Rearview Mirror Connection: The adapter connects to a 3-Pin Rain Sensor Port (Hidden). Simply use the Mangoal Dashcam Power Adapter to convert from the 3-Pin Rain Sensor Port plug and connect it securely.
